Mine has been in Louisville for 3 days now. =/ It hasn't moved since Friday.

 

Mine arrived in Louisville this morning at 9:51am

 

Did you pay extra for 2 day shipping? or other faster shippings times?

 

Mine arrived in Louisville today at 6:26 AM and shipped early yesterday. I paid the $25 for 2-day shipping. I ordered some other stuff with mine that came in a separate shipment (sleeve, etc.) that shipped on 3/30 and arrived at my home in St. Louis on 4/1.

 

I thought the same thing but apparently the website doesn't update for movement between Louisville and final delivery. My message said Louisville for a day and than it was here on the West Coast "out for delivery."

Very much unlike the normal UPS tracking progress.

my tracking info is almost identical with yours (there are only several minutes of differences in 2 or 3 of these rows).

According to UPS tracking website, the package was sent via "UPS Worldwide Expedited", so technically speaking, it's not UPS Ground...

Let's hope they do work on sundays...

 

yes it is "UPS Worldwide Expedited" but on order it is UPS Ground.

I wouldn't bother updating the status of my order but, since this separate thread exists, I'll note that mine arrived at my home at 9:33 CST today after leaving Louisville yesterday at 17:12. I think everyone who placed an order around the release date can expect to get theirs shortly as well, especially if you paid for the expedited shipping.

BTW, my order is for T420s (don't mean to hijack this thread). The UPS guy said that it will be delivered on Thu (4/14) - Arrgghhh!!!

When did you guys order? I put in an order for a W520 after an IdeaPad fiasco, and have a 4/20 estimated ship date. Has anyone been shipped before that estimate? Apparently my HDD drive bay adaptor is already en route.

 

What do you guys mean when you say the UPS guy says a date? Do you call UPS and ask them?

Lenovo will not act up to 3 days...

Hemanth: Even in order to file a lost package request there should be no scan on the package atleast for 3 business days as per lenovo policy

If you don't see and progress or scan on package for 3 business days please revert So that we can take care of the issue then

 

It's kind of ridiculous that it is just sitting there in Lousiville!

Just called UPS and the estimated delivery date is this Thursday. Still need to wait.

 

Earlier this morning mine had an estimated delivery date of 4/13 by 10:30AM, but that has since disappeared. That's with 2-Day shipping.

Import Scan: The shipment has cleared import procedures in the receiving country.

I hope It should deliver tomorrow sometime.

 

we are in the same consolidated shipment, which according to a UPS agent contains 475 individual packages!

all these packages will have to clear custom before any can be delivered. The UPS agent told me that they will try to clear all of them today and hopefully be able to deliver it tomorrow (I am in CA)

EDIT: received a response for my email query sent yesterday, it seems the estimated delivery is now at 04/14 instead of 04/13 ...

Looks like we are in the same bundle..cept my was imported ten minutes later..but thats cause they have to go thru it individually

 

My W520 must be in the same box that everyone else's came in, although I'm still waiting for mine to clear customs.

As long as it's here by friday I'm just fine!

 

You guys don't want to know how long it took for my W520 to arrive from the point we were notified it shipped. I could not believe it.

It was pretty much overnight shipping. Well, over weekend. Fastest shipment from China I've ever seen. I'm not sure how that happened but I wasn't complaining.

Now the T420s is a different story...
