New on these forums so excuse me for asking such a detailed question to begin with...
Does Lenovo offer extended international warranties for European customers (germany) ?
I have been browsing this website and they have this warranty on offer for Lenovo 3000 N100
"IBM Garantieerweiterung auf 3 Jahre Kurier f. ThinkPads mit 1 Jahr Basis Garantie"
warranty upgrade for an additional 259s. Does anybody know the content of Lenovo's warranty (this one specifically) and if it is supported internationally. They also have on site service that costs 299 for 3 years, I wonder if it will be worth the extra 40s but something tells me it is worth paying for if it is the international type. Also does Lenovo offer accidental coverage (even at extra cost) and how much it costs if it has to purchased separately from the main warranty... Basically, I want to know how much it will cost me to buy a three year warranty (courier) and accidental damage protection through this site (or Lenovo's for that matter) and I can't figure out which warranty to buy.
If anybody knows anything about Lenovo warranty in Europe, I'd appreciate some help on the topic but general warranty information should also be good enough. Thanks already
Thanks,

additional question
I am set on the 14.1" model but I haven't made up my mind yet since I just feel 14.1" might be too small for multimedia use (which is my second reason to buy this pc). Do you suggest I buy the 14.1" or the 15.4" model, portability wise is there a huge difference. Finally are the N series good since they have been out for a while and I have seen many posts/reviews etc... on these. -
When I did the review for the N100, the manual stated the warranty was international as long as there was a service center there. The n100 is a nice machine, but it not of the quality of a ThinkPad, but you are paying less. It is a trade off. Perhaps something like the Fujitsu e8210 would be a nice fit. Fujitsu warranties are international. Good Luck.

What I am confused about mainly is the extended warranty, the website that I linked to offers a 3 year warranty (via courier) for 259 but I can't seem to figure out if this covers accidental damage like the lenovo products in USA are covered with warranty extension. This is the main reason I wanted to buy a Lenovo product in the first place so I might have to buy Asus, Toshiba or Fujitsu as you stated.

I'd say it is better than the Toshiba less than the Dell. The chassis is very solid, but it has the plastic case which does not offer much protection for the screen. It is also very easily scratchable. The Dell has a magnesium case which is more durable. Fit and finish on the n100 was good.
