So i called lenovo support line after i had upgraded my bios to 59 and my laptop appears to stop turning on and working. I had sent it in to the repair depot in texas in the united states. the repair warranty depot says i did customer induced damage and the warranty doesnt cover it, and the amount for a motherboard replacement is 300 dollars. For downloading a bios update off their website supposedly to fix some issues regarding y560, i dont get why i have to pay half of what i payed for the laptop itself. I was wondering if anyone in this forum can give me any advice to help me on this issue. Getting different answers and reasons from their employees, supervisors, and managers and it is getting really annoying.

Any personal known experiences dealing with Lenovo similar to this is well appreciated.
