This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I am stuck with a p.o.s. Sony computer with a Windows 7 Upgrade CD that does not allow a clean install. I am having difficulty with the end around found on this site to do a clean install.

    I was just curious if Lenovo allows a clean install with their Upgrade CD.

    I knew I should have waited until Widnows 7 was preinstalled.
