I recently updated my wireless drivers, with Intel - Network - Intel(R) 82566MM Gigabit Network Connection and a few other updates from Lenovo and Intel. And now, my Wireless randomly dies on me. As in, the light turns off, i lose signal, and when i try to turn the wireless back on, it doesn't load up, or if i somehow get it to load up, it only shows the option to turn on/off the bluetooth; the wireless is gone. I have to restart the computer to get wireless again. Help!

Check with whatever power profile you have - perhaps that is shutting down the wireless.

I have the same update that you have and the exact same problem.

Just randomly out of the blue, my wireless light (on the bottom of the LCD) will go black and I wont have access to the internet. The only way to "fix" it is to restart my computer.

    Anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like it's time to rollback the drivers... :(

You should ALWAYS use Leno released drivers.

Does anyone know how to enable the wireless network feature in the X61? I went to network connections, right click on it and it only has the disable shortcut, I don't see enable. Also, I used the hotkey key (FN + F5) and it still doesn't work.

    Please advice. Thanks.
