Hi. I've just purchased a Lenovo Y400 and reformatted the OS to Windows 7. All of the installations proceeded smoothly without a hitch.
Next,I installed and proceeded to configure Skype and the webcam worked fine.

Now, I want to use the webcam in Skype but I don't get any image. All I see is a ring that's constantly moving and the webcam light is powered on.

In device manager, the Manufacturer is Bison while Realtek is the driver provider. Is this correct?

How do I solve this issue?

I was having this problem too.

Uninstall your webcam through device manager. (May not be needed)

Go to the Lenovo drivers page for your model and download and install the Windows 8 drivers, NOT the Windows 7 ones.

That's what solved the problem for me.
