Hello guys, i'm new to this forum. I just purchased a y410p 59392571 with windows 8.1 installed, i tried to put in my old ocz vertex 2 ssd. i enter the bois by pressing F2 after i replaced it with ocz ssd, but looks like there is limitations in the bios, first it did not detect my old sata 2 ocz ssd. So i shutdown the laptop and boot from DVD-r om and enter windows 7 installation screen, i accidentally format my old windows 7 system that was on my leovo t410, i wish i saw that yellow letters with exclamation marks!! "windows cannot be installed on this disk..." now i'm stuck with slow drive that came with this y410p laptop.

I want to upgrade to a samsung pro 256GB ssd, is this possible? can someone please point me to a guide or set of instructions please.

    Thank you so much.
