I've been looking at the CW for a while, but Lenovo's Y450 has caught my eye because it's quite flashy and nice-looking. I used to think Lenovo built clunky machines that would cause eye-sores, but I guess I'm wrong.

Which laptop is a better buy at $999 (including BUILD QUALITY/TECH SUPPORT!)?

    Lenovo Y450

    Intel Core 2 Duo P8700
    Windows 7 HP
    14" LED WXGA
    1GB nVidia GeForce GT 240M
    4GB DDR3 at 1066 MHz
    320GB 5400RPM SATA
    DVD Recordable
    Intel 5100 WiFi + Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
    Standard battery (6 cell 56Whr)
    1.4" thin, 4.6 lbs

    $959 w/ $40 academic discount + ship

    SONY CW190X CTO

    Intel Core 2 Duo P8700
    Windows 7 Pro
    14" LED WXGA
    512MB nVidia GeForce GT230M
    4GB DDR3 at 1066 MHz
    320GB 5400RPM SATA
    DVD Recordable
Large capacity battery (9 cell, 72 Whr)
    1.5" thin, 5.3 lbs

    $930 w/ $50 academic discount + ship

    Which is better overall?

NOTE: I think I'm waiting until the i5/Arrandale launch in January, but I don't think either companies will release new models (just refreshes) because both designs are relatively new.
