Got a Y50 Touch with the Broadcom BCM 94352z, sticker on the wifi card says Anatel, according to device manager it just says Broadcom 802.11ac BCM4352. Wifi tends to disconnect alot. generally doing normal internet browsing I don't have to many issues but when I try and use voice chat, load an online game server or download a file it will disconnect and refuse to reconnect until I try about 10 times.... Driver version 6.35.223.5
driver tried reinstalling drivers and tried disabling WMM
Sometimes my download speeds are superslow but other timesthey seem perfectly normal

My driver shows 7.12.39.15 in device manager, sounds like yours is old?

Yes, Lenovo only uses Broadcom and Intel as WiFi parts.

Did you have to manually install that update? Mine didn't find it, I find it weird your device manager doesn't state your Broadcom model # like mine, I found that driver but doesn't say it is meant for my card.

Last night I reverted from Win10 back to 8.1, but I'm not sure why it has this driver, didn't bother to check before upgrading. The ID for the WiFi shows PCI\VEN_14E4, is that the same as yours?

What do you mean the ID for the WiFi? Like what the router sees it as?

No, in device manager look at details, hardware ids.

hmmm, well I am still having a ton of issues with speed and staying connected, I am just using my Nexus 5 as a usb wifi receiver at the moment... I wonder if it is a hardware issue?

What I meant is I am using my phone as my wireless receiver for my router, I'm not using my phones data plan, this is a temporary fix until I can solve my issue, works really well though even for online games.

I know this may seem counter productive in your scenario, but maybe you should consider ethernet. Especially if you game a lot, it's worthwhile. I have a network at home and I need the fastest possible speed which is 1Gbps on my laptop, Wi-Fi doesn't cut for it.

You should consider if you want a more consistent internet experience. Also about Wi-Fi, I find it funny sometimes as it works better on some routers than others, have you tried using another router?

I got exactly the same problem. Should I try to find the 7.12.39.15 driver to replace my 6.35.223.5 driver?

I tried with 7.12.39.15 driver and wifi was even more slow. So I ve concluded that no network adapter driver is going to solve the problem. Maybe the problem is the hardware. But there is something that I want to ask you; which bios version do you have in your Lenovo Y50?
Because I updated the bios to the last version: "9ECN43WW (V3.03)" and maybe it could be the problem.

All is clear now. The problem is simply that the Broadcom 802.11ac BCM4352 wireless network adapter has or frequently has a very weak antenna. Near the router I dont have any problem, the wifi speed is high; but when I get away the performance of the adapter goes down very quickly.

    Look at this forum: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo...-y50-70-broadcom-802-11ac/m-p/2086877#M123800

There are many persons with the same problem.
