    Hi guys!
I hope I'm posting this in the right place.
So, briefly - I bought laptop 3 days ago from xsonly.com (refurbished). I got it with EU type plug. So I used an adapter (EU to UK socket plug) to charge it / turn it on. It turned on, everything was fine, it was charging. I installed all the things I needed.
That night I left laptop turned on, cause it was downloading stuff.
I woke up next morning, put downloaded stuff to install and went to work.
When I got home, laptop was turned off and it just wouldn't turn back on. No lights showing up, no sounds coming from fans or laptop whatsoever.
Also, AC makes weird ticking / clicking noise, when connected to laptop. When it's not connected, it's silent.
I thought it's AC's fault, so I bought new one. The new one makes the same sounds (ticking / clicking every 0.5s seconds).
    What might be the problem?
Oh, I've tried already hard resetting thing, where you hold power button for 1 min etc etc. Doesn't help in this case.
The battery's built-in, but I removed the backcover and unplugged it. It doesn't work with nor without battery.
    Thank you everybody
    Have a nice day. :)

I have the same laptop and it's famous for having s really bad HDD, that dies fast. Based on that, im guessing that the ticking noise you are hearing is the hdd dying.

But it could also be that the power adapter you used created some problems.

If I were you I'd try first to remove the HDD and run it in another machine to see if it is dead.
