    Hello,

I just received my Lenovo Ideapad Y510 (2.0 Ghz processor, 3gb ram, 250gb hard drive, IntelĀ® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100) and it's running at 50C which seems pretty hot (using SpeedFan). I have a 17in HP DV9700 with a 2.4ghz, 3gb ram, 8600 512MB GeForce and it only runs that hot while gaming. This Lenovo is so quiet I can't tell if the fan is spinning as their is no noise or much air coming out the side. This is 'normal'?

If you are concerned, I would download CPUid so that you can monitor your temps while you are using the pad. If they are going well over 70-80c you may want to be concerned. Otherwise, enjoy the superior thermal management that you apparently have.
