I have two of these on order with the 240m graphics cards, 2.53 ghz, 4 gb of ram, etc. Not many reviews on these, can someone give me a pros and cons of this model. I'm looking for input/reviews from those who own them.

    Thanks,

    Greg

The Y550 seems to be very user upgradable, the CPU and the GPU (mxm solution?) looks to be reachable from a removal of the bottom access panel.

But the hinge seems flimsy..... it will be lot weaker than macbook pro's one piece aluminum hinge, and apple laptop are NOT renowned for the hinge strength..... one could imagine the consequence of such....

For a laptop, i would rather prefer Thinkpad's stainless steel hinge, probably one of the strongest in the laptop industry......
