OK, so after coming to the conclusion that no matter how hard I try, I won't be able to get a i5 2500K stuffed into my Y570, I have to search for new options.

I currently have a i7 2630QM installed, with 12GB RAM, and the performance is not bad. Yet I'm looking for that extra boost :D . Taking into consideration the release of the new Ivy Bridge processors, would anyone be able to give me advice as to what would be a good processor upgrade? It would be especially helpful if you have first-hand experience.

Thanks and I appreciate your help!

    Kind regards!
