well, i'm typing on my new Y530 right now. i would put up pictures, but there are plenty out there and mine doesn't seem any different.
it's a great machine, so far... once i removed the bloatware and ironed out some of the kinks in vista, it runs fast and smooth. the screen is beautiful. the build quality seems just as good as my four-year-old thinkpad t42, the screen hinge in particular seems remarkably solid.
so far, i am very happy.

nvidia 9500m g?

Do you like the keyboard? I love the feel and firmness. -
and the best thing about the y530 is that you can upgrade everything on it, including the graphics card! anyway, dell or hp's look like toys compared to this rock solid beauty!
-
the keyboard is pretty solid, although i do notice some slight flex on the top left and bottom right corners, but only if i look really closely.
and the frameless screen design is great.
and yes, it came with the unexpected graphics card upgrade! what a nice bonus.
this laptop does make a lot of others look like cheap jokes. lenovo for life. -

extremely happy
received my y530 less than a week after purchase and even though it was a refurb it came to my view in new condition. All packaging materials, manuals, etc. And I actually even like the free case. Very happy with the outlet experience.
On the Y530, am a huge fan. I have an X61 for work and the Y530 outperforms it in every respect.
Really love the look and feel of the laptop and even though the screen is quite reflective I think its awesome
Loaded office and a bunch of other stuff in a breeze.
On thing I wanted to ask, how is the face recognition supposed to work, I thought it would be used instead of a windows password but it still ask me for the password so whats the point. If there is none, you guys know how to turn it off?
Also happy to answer any questions
