Lenovo Yoga 700 11 Inquiry

I've been searching the internet for any reviews and only found 1 on Best Buy but it wasn't very thorough. I guess no one has it yet eh?

I'm kind of looking for something snappy to replace an aging Chromebook, and it just so happens Lenovo released this guy right when I started looking around.

I would buy another Chromebook, but I'd like to be able to do some light gaming.

 

Get a notebook with a SSD, then it'll be snappy. You may wish to consider the FAQ over in the WSIBN forum and post there. That would help narrow things down a bit. I've never used a Yoga, so you on your own there.

 

Now I think I remember why I stopped coming here years ago. I was asking about a SPECIFIC laptop, that just came out, reviews, opinions, etc. I wasn't asking which laptop I should buy.

 

With an attitude like that, don't hurry back.

 

Apologies, it was kind of a misunderstanding. I thought this was moved to a completely different forum, when it was moved into a sub section.

I might suggest that the sub forums under Lenovo should be re-evaluated. After all, the catergory for "X100E" was a model laptop that came out 5+ years ago, and its not like the Yoga 700 11 inch is actually branded as "Ideapad".

My suggestion: Think* and Non-Think* Products.

 

When you say you're looking for something, that's a wide path. I don't know much about the Yogas other than I dislike touch screens. Being that it's fairly new, opinions will be harder to get. I still think the WSIBN FAQ might not be a bad idea. There may be a better fit than the Yoga, but it's your call.
