    About The airbag feature,

    What are the recommended settings?

And why does the screen go dark when I am moving the laptop. Also if I am playing a song it pauses for a while. (because the harddrive stops) It is getting a bit annoying.

So i just wanna know what settings you all use. Or do you leave it untouched?

You can always disable it if it becomes bothersome. It's probably doing that because it is detecting some movement.

I personally leave it untouched - I am not experiencing much problems with it, but I do think it's a great security feature.

    To disable -

Open up lenovo thinkvantage tools - this can be accessed from the start menu, then click on airbag protection, go to configuration, and then customize to your liking.

    Hope I helped!

"great security feature" umm its not a security feature. Its to make sure you don't trash your Hard Drive. The program parks the drive when it senses movement. Like you pick your laptop up and take into the other room. This can cause the spindle wear at uneven angles, head shake etc. So the solution to this, is to park the drive "stop" till the movement stops. If you have a SSD drive you can uninstall this program. I have found the middle setting to be the best tolerate between movement and when, what it feels is excess movement.

Use Winamp or Foobar2k to play your music. Turn up the DirectSound buffer to something like 2500ms or higher to avoid pauses in playback due to APS kicking in.
