My X220 shipped a few days ago.
I checked my UPS tracking and it says "Receiver requested temporary change of address."
I called UPS and they said the Sender changed the address to Lenovo Returns, North Carolina.
I called the general Lenovo phone number and they could not tell me why and said to wait.
Has anyone seen this before?
Are there any more helpful Lenovo departments that I could call to get an answer why?
Note: It was being shipped to a mail forwarding address.

Lenovo HQ is in NC i believe. i think they handle a lot of returns/refurbs in that area.

it took a few hours and ...
– 3 phone calls to Lenovo US
– 2 phone calls to UPS
– 2 chats on Lenovo US
... but I finally found a guy on Lenovo US chat that was helpful.
Apparently ... "the suite # XXXXX was not updated on the shipping address. Since it is an Amazon order we don't have access to update the suite number and reroute the package to the right address."
Then I thanked him for his very helpful research and after some more compliments, he agreed to put in a request to senior mgmt to re-route the package back to my address with the suite number added correctly this time.
Lenovo changed address to Lenovo Returns? Why?
