I bought a T61P with 3 year depot warranty last June. When I received the laptop I went on to Lenovo's website and confirmed that my 3 year warranty was registered. I have been having some problems with my laptop lately and was looking up FRU numbers when I decided to look up my warranty to see what is covered. To my surprise my expiration date now says
Expiration date:
2009-07-27
Description:
This product has a one year limited warranty and is entitled to EZServ/Depot service. Customers may call their local service center for more information. Dealers may provide carry-in repair for this product.
What happened to my 3 year depot warranty? Has anyone had this happen to them and how to get this fixed?
-
Did you buy the warranty with the laptop or seperately afterwards? Have you called Lenovo yet?

Let me know how it goes, i have the same problem
-
You should have your original receipt too so at least you have proof.

I've received may T400 few days ago. But i can't lookup my warranty.

It takes a few days for it to come up. So that isn't a problem (yet).
Lenovo changed my warranty from 3 years to 1 year
