Lenovo detailed order status - gone!

Sorry if this is a total noob question, but I just checked my order status and for some reason the entire detailed parts manifest is gone! All I can see now is the main CTO number and accessories.

What does this mean?
a) The lenovo website is just messed up
b) My order is messed up
c) Everything is ok and my order is actually getting closer to the production line
d) None of the above.

Since last week I've always been able to see every component listed, but not today.

It would appear so. Mine is gone as well - although my system has already been delivered and I've had my laptop for a good 6 months - just shows a blank page with "dfdf".

Ok, it's starting to sound like option a). Hopefully they clear this up.

Also, on Sunday I received an email saying my order shipped and I'd get a tracking number within 24 hours. When I never got one, I called, I learned my order was not actually shipped, and they had no idea why I got such an email, and they had no record of such a notification being sent.

 

Mine has done the same thing today.

I'm hoping that means they did a bulk build or something today.

Configured System sounds like it's built...I could be wrong.

 

I have the same issue... does anyone know exactly wats happening?

 

I cancelled a previous order and it never seemed to progress beyond the "in process" state (placed 7/11, ESD 8/13, cancelled 7/20 because of the recent fire sale.)

My most recent order (placed 7/20, ESD 9/5) is really only a few days old so I would be shocked if they had actually built it and are ready to ship.

If anyone can still see their order details, can you please post your order date and ESD? Thanks.

 

I ordered 7/20 with ESD of 8/8 but I configured a very basic system

 

I'm pretty sure configured system just means its a system you configured lol, not anything about if its built.

Good information, now please, nobody call Lenovo.

 

Is this something that everyone is experiencing or only people who are buying T61(p)s?

 

I bought a X61s and also have this problem.

 

doesnt seem like such a big of a deal to me since. dont know why people are tripping all over the place about not seeing their configuration when they have it on their email confirmation

 

ordered an 8889CTO on 7/21 with an estimated ship date of 8/9 and my order build details have also disappeared.

I forgot to print them out, which is a little worrying because on the final order confirmation page I did print there is no mention of a few components like bluetooth that were part of the configuration. There's also no mention of configured components in my confirmation email. I just hope they all end up in the final build.

 

Same thing happened to my T61 15.4" Nvidia order. Their website changed.

 

I printed out just about every stage of the order process when I got ready to "PULL THE TRIGGER" on the T61. I wanted to make sure that I did not miss anything when I ordered. So, when I do finally receive the T61, I will have the parts I purchased. :wink:

 

They redesign the web page so it is more readable for the average person (but less detailed for the enthusiast). That is my guess and probably a good thing as most people (probably ones not registered here) aren't that excited about a part list. Nothing to get your panties in a bunch over

FYI mine order page has changed this way also.

This post has me a bit concerned. Has anyone who's order status only says "configured system" had their order shipped (not counting those who had it shipped before the problem began occuring)?

I just click the link in my confirmation email that Lenovo sent me and can still see detailed parts list as well.

 

Weird. Seems it affects some people and not others.

I called Lenovo the other day to confirm that my configuration included Bluetooth (it was the one addition not listed on my order confirmation) and everythng seemed to be fine with the order despite my build details disappearing from the order status the day after ordering.

i have the same situation (t61), though the laptop is at KY, US for customer clearance. called UPS, they told me it is guaranteed to deliver by 10:30 am tomorrow. I don't know how they can do this without even customer clearence.

My ESD for an x61s was 7/31, the parts list dissappeared a little over a week ago, it shipped on 7/27.

Just chill out, your will come eventually
