This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i edited your post since the files themselves appear to be ok.   the pages in question have embedded links to a known-malicious site.   browsing with a content-aware browser such as firefox or chrome appears to be safe but we still suggest users proceed with caution until this can be resolved.

    the proper persons have been notified of the issue and it is being investigated.   we hope to have this resolved as soon as possible.

    Well, you can't stay competent 24/7 in this business, especially when we are talking about big companies. Their reaction is always a bit slow.
    But that's funny nevertheless :)

    not as funny as IBM handing out free usb thumb drive with malware to experts whom attended some sort of conference relating to computer viruses/malwares/trojans, etc.
