Lenovo accidentally sent me a touch panel as a replacement for my non-touch. The Touch panel is exactly the same AUO part number with an additional glass layer bonded to the front. The driver board for the digitizer is glued to the back of the AUO panel and the ribbon cable is routed between the two layers. So it's exactly as I said - the standard AUO panel with what I would call a matte finish, and a glossier layer of glass on top of it.

Should give you a pretty good idea of how glossy the T440s touch screen is.

My T440s has a "clicky" trackpad which I'd let to get rid of as well. Given that the list of bezel FRU's from the original FRU list from July 2013 did not change when the list was updated in February 2014, I can only conclude that isn't a new part number. It's possible that there was a revision change to one of the existing bezel FRUs.
