I mean, seriously.
You want to spend MORE money by asking for MORE ram, and then they tell you they have to nuke the order, and then you get back in line?!
Anyone understand why this is the way it is?
People should be encouraged to update their configurations. I know of nobody that will reconfigure their computer to make it CHEAPER.
Stupid LenoWoe. =)
-
Lenovo went ahead and reconfigured my computer for me to make it cheaper.....
Without my approval...
And without actually making it cheaper either.
Anyone know the number to Corporate? -
Because they are new to direct sales....they have dealt and still deal with mostly corporations and larger companies not individuals...
Also they have already said pricing mistakes from the order rentry to fix the problems will be fixed if you call in or email in. -
Buddy, buy your own RAM. You'll save LOTS of money!
-
-
A LOT of companies will not let you change the order after it is placed...it screws up their inner-workings if they have to constantly adjust orders.
-
Don't buy ram from lenovo... buy one from newegg or wherever, you must get a much better price than buying from lenovo...
-
-
The worst shipping policy ever? Somehow I doubt that.
-
you know, I have a feeling that people have been abusing the Meyer's situation with Lenovo and taking advantage of Lenovo's vulnerability.
Quit *****ing about something so god darn silly. You can't update it because it screws up the assemblers who are building the system already. It's hard to keep track of 200,000 notebooks and it makes it even worst if people keep changing their mind.
Sorry to be so straightforward but suck it up. -
Yeah I have to side with the school of you change your order, it's effectively a new order. I guess how much of a hassle it is for them depends on how far along the process it got. But I wouldn't expect same order time if I went back and changed stuff.
Then again, I just put my order in yesterday, so get back with me in a couple of months and see how I feel then about the whole situation!
