    Have you tried hooking it to an external monitor? If it works, then it's likely the screen. If not, perhaps a driver or hardware issue. Booting via Linux will tell you whether the software or hardware is the culprit. My guess would be the screen has gone bad. Re-seatng the LCD cable doesn't cost anything.

    Great idea to connect to external monitor to check. Ill try that first.
