I finally got my T60p back yesterday and was a little disappointed when I took the system from the box. I remember dealing with Dell and a Inspiron 8200 that I sent in just before the warranty expired to get it's lcd and touchpad replaced and getting it back with the keyboard, and top bezel also replaced without have to ask. It came back looking almost brand new.
My T60p got just the things I requested fixed and nothing else. It took Lenovo 10 days on the turnaround but I did get a call on the 8 day telling me that the repair had been escalated and put on the fast track. I was pleased about that.
I got the LCD screen replaced along with the palmrest (wonky touchpad button) and the coaster-making dvd burner. I forgot to mention the missing rubber foot. I crossed my fingers hoping they would notice the latter and just put one on which they didn't.
An then I discovered that my bluetooth had disappeared. I figured that maybe the BT card had gotten loose in shipping or the repair tech accidentally left it loose and popped open the palmrest but couldn't find the card. After a little research, I found that the BT module is located with the LCD housing (which I'm not going to mess with).
So, I'm going to have to have it shipped back to fix the problem that could have been avoided with a little diligence on Lenovo's part.
Maybe they'll put the rubber foot on for all my trouble.

If you didn't mention it, I would say there's a good chance it won't get fixed. It wouldn't be that hard to overlook when you're repairing tons of ThinkPads.

Aside from the bluetooth module... I don't think there is entirely cause for complaint. But make them fix the BT.

Well you know how everything is now. Companies will do as little as possible to staisfy the issue. So if you don't mention it they probably won't do it. But it also depends on the thoroughness of the technician that is working on your machine as well.
BTW - What was wrong with the LCD? -
Lenovo doesn't always exhibit that attention to detail that (normally) distinguishes ThinkPads from the rest of the dreck that's available. It'd go back with explicit directions on what you'd like done, and then just hope for the best.

You really got luck with dell.
From my last experience, dell warranty (mini9) is the most horrible service I have ever met.
It took two times to ask for replacing the LCD screen, first time, the tech rep is almost blind, he didn't see the problem.
then second time, the tech just played with me, and hold my machine for over 2 weeks,
so the overall processing cost about 1 and half month for getting the same function as brand new. -

Hope they get it fixed right.
I also think you should just tell them what to fix rather than expectin them to fix stuff that you didn't put into the work order. -
hope it gets resolved, is Lenovo generally good with their repairs?

Simple fix you should have gotten on-site, you can supervise the tech

What do you think Thinkpad is? BMW or Mercedes?
Count yourself luck Lenovo did not lose some the remaining rubber feet.
