The Lenovo logo on the outside of the lid has disappeared!!

Is the Lenovo logo on the X200T just a sticker??

I thought it is the same type of type of logo as the Thinkpad logo, that is has a depressed outline as shown in this picture

Lenovo ThinkPad X200 Tablet Review Image 46842.

I don't even have the outline, it's just completely vanished off my laptop.

Looks like somewhere along the life of the laptop, someone replaced the clamshell with a generic (non-authentic) lid.

I had this laptop since new and never send it for repair.

I have my x200tablet on my desk and it has the depression and logo. I am not sure if it is a sticker but it has stayed firmly in place for the last 2-years since I assumed ownership of my x200tablet. Tonight is the first time I actually paid the logo any attention lol. I forgot it was even there :D

I remember having depression for the Lenovo logo too, but now it's all gone. It's like some kind of sorcery. The part is completely flat, like nothing ever existed there.

Yup from what I remember when I had my X200 tablet, it had the Lenovo badge. Quite odd.

It just disappeared off the surface of the laptop, including the depression. May the depression is also a sticker?

Interesting. Mine is similar to the one in the link in your first post. Wonder if anyone has any answers why you got a generic lid? What is the model type of your X200t?

Oh, well there goes that theory. Maybe it was a part that slipped out during an early, first run production?

You sure it's not a Lenova? Lol.

Maybe it is a very late model. X201 Tablet did not have a Lenovo Logo on the outside cover (unlike X200t and X220t), and maybe your X200t has a X201 Tablet displaycover...might be possible.
