I was able to configure a T60 with a 7200 60GB drive a week or so ago, but now there's no such option. If I want a 7200 I have to buy a 100 GB drive. I never even clear 20GB use. How come I can't get 7200 anymore?

just because.
there are no reasons.
it's just like asking why ibm/lenovo produces Z, T, R, X series instead of A,B,C,D series.
just because. -
Could be in short supply.

That's too bad, I got my T60 w/ a 60GB 7200 just a few weeks ago. Their product listings that they published in May specifically say that the 60GB 7200 is available in certain models. Then again, mine is a 2613 and it doesn't appear in the product listings at all (think it is the prior model since there is a 2623). I'd download the listing and make sure it says the 7200 is available with the model you were customizing. Look for tabook.pdf

You can always upgrade it later if needed.
