    Scratch and Dent.

Looking at some of the monitors as a external for my T500.

Can a blemish be on the screen? Anyone every buy one?

    Thanks,
    drake

I bought my ThinkVision L2440x as a "scratch and dent", but I noticed no blemishes when I received it. As a matter of fact, more often than not you'll hear of people receiving units receiving units free of defects, though labeled as "scratch and dent".

Scratch and Dent usually involves the cardboard box or packaging.

Looking at the monitors on the outlet as an external for my T500. Right now they are all listed a Scratch and Dents. Just wondering what that means as far as monitors. Can the screen be scratched?? Thanks Guy's.

The LCD panel won't be scratched, as this will be considered defective and not a usable product as such.

As a follow up...I ordered a Thinkvision L215 wide 22" monitor from the outlet (scratch & dent). Delivered in three days....great monitor.....not a mark on it.

Hooked right up and worked (win7) on T500.
