This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'm looking at all the T61s there. Why do so many of them (look at the <700 models) say WXGA in the description, but don't say widescreen on the regular display page? Every model under $917 says either WXGA or WXGA+, but the pictures clearly show a 4:3 model. I'd rather not buy a WXGA machine and get an XGA instead. Is this just inattentive marketing?

    Yikes. The more I browse the outlet store, the worse it looks.

    BHT, they're returnable, but you get dinged with the 15% restocking fee.
