I bought a T410 on the lenovo outlet and received it with a cracked displayport so I called the tech support line and sent them pictures and was told they would not repair it but would give me a refund.
I got a good deal on it and they want to refund me instead of exchanging it or changing out the motherboard. I'll probably never find one again at the price I got it for.![]()
Is it normal for Lenovo to refuse repairs or is this an outlet only type of thing?

Keep badgering them. And make sure you're calling support, not sales.

What was your deal?
They should be able to fix your laptop. Try and get ahold of another rep for better luck. Downside to this is you need to send your laptop in for the repair(curses outlet depot warranty). -
call Lenovo warranty support in your country, they should able to take of it. The sales can only refund you, especially if it is the outlet store.
