I ordered a T400 on release date, and it just finally shipped last night. When the prices dropped about a week ago, I called Lenovo to have a price match done - I was told that I would receive an e-mail when the order shipped with a code to call into billing to credit my card the difference between the two systems. I've received no such e-mails, and am having connection problems when trying to call the Lenovo representatives recently. Does anyone have any experience with this? Did I get a rep who gave me bad advice?

After Lenovo messed up on my order and then for some odd reason made my quote increase by $200 arbitrarily, I'd say it's too much pain to do the price matching.
Rather wait two weeks extra than deal with the BS of price matching. You're extremely likely to get screwed over. -
I am currently waiting for my order to be shipped, ordered it on the first day too, asked them to have my price matching done, and I will call them as soon as my order is shipped.....I am sure you will do just fine

I did the price matching after my t400 was shipped. I was told that i should see the credit in my acct after 10 days.
