    Hi guys,

I have heard that Lenovo does not send you the OS installation disk when you purchase your notebook. I wonder how can I order it. Can someone give a link or an explanation how to do so?

    Thanks.

    Just call them, probably.

I believe that you can use Rescue and Recovery to burn a set of Recovery DVDs/CDs as well.

    [ditto above]

You make your own backup disks using the thinkvantage software. Look around and you should be able to find the option. There are directions on how to do this in the booklet that came with your laptop, I think.

    try this:

    start>programs>thinkvantage>create recovery media

if its not there it will be in the recovery partition accessed by pressing the blue button at bootup
