I'm not even seeing it on the site any longer....wondering if they just removed it entirely for the obvious order fulfillment issues.

Do you need to see it on the site every day or something....

Probably, they are out of stock on GPUs or WUXGA screens... something normal these days.

Yup Probably enough parts on back order thus causing delays to orders already in progress, they removed it from the site. It was there around 11PM PST last night, so they must have done it early in the morning.

It doesn't seem like a disaster as well.

"Disaster" would certainly be a reach at this point. But I'd think it unlikely they'd take it down for just a day or so either for shortages reasons. Unless they just needed to redesign the page for some reason (possible).

I'm thinking it must be the GPU as the WSXGA+ is still an option on the T60.

I had been checking daily as some of the coupons have been changing as of late. Ended up cancelling my first order to reorder yesterday to save 100 or so.

Hopefully, it will come back soon. If it is gone forever, that is the shortest product lifespan in the history of computers!

It has what is, so far as I can tell, a unique set of characterisitics in the market right now. I'm going to guess the volumes were more than they could deal with in the short term. This (if it arrives) is going to be my first ThinkPad, but I couldn't find any other option that met all my requirements right now.

They might just be updating the site, adding new features to the laptop that will decrease shipping times (like a WSXGA+ option!). Or it might be because they are so backed up they cannot take any more orders...or both.
