Apologies if this has all ready been covered, but since I can't find the "search" feature anymore...

I wanted to know what the max ram that can be installed in the s10e. My model already has 1gb, but I have read that there is a 512mb on the board and a 512mb module. I am getting conflicting information some say 1.5 is the maximum and others say if you put a 2gb module it will say 2.5gb, but only use 2gb.

Second question is the max size hard drive that can be installed. Thanks

Well to answer my own question about the ram. I bit the bullet and opted to buy a 2gb stick to try it out. After installing and rebooting the Lenovo recognizes 2gb of the 2.5gb total that is installed.

On to the hard drive now. Any recommendations?

im pretty sure there is no limit on HD size so you are pretty much open to whatever you like.
