Having only started considering Lenovo in the last week, and seeing the "summer sales" in the north american market (renamed to "end of tax year sale" in Australia), are these sales common? Can I expect more similar sales in a few months if I'd like to wait out or are these really only to be seen once a year?

I'm living and working in Australia right now, but they want AUD$4000 for the same thing that goes for CAD$2700 in Canada. Unbelievable. I'll be home in October, and will probably wait to purchase in September so it arrives while I'm home. I'm wondering if I'm really missing out on this current sale or if Lenovos prices or offerings will change enough to make 3 months of waiting worthwhile?

I guess some of you guys know the market pretty well, if you have any suggestions I'd like to hear them.

I'm also considering 3 year next-day service and 3 year accident protection. Do they offer worldwide coverage for next-day service? I would assume so since business users typical travel quite a lot, and that's the whole point -- when you are on the road you can't afford any wasted time. I'll also be living and working from the Czech Republic by early next year so global service is important and the website isn't really clear.
