    Lenovo shipping (multiple stuffs buyed)

    So, I'm buying a T400. I know that it'll ship in a month, but my biggest concern is this>

    Also, i'm buying a Advanced Mini Dock (thanks arkit3kt for the help), a 4 cell battery, belkin messenger bag (black/red, looks fantastick with a thinkpad), and a 2 gb flash memory (with olimpic logo on it :) ). All this stuffs have diferent shipping days. Will everything ship to me in one big package, or the stuffs (like the battery) will ship later and the USB before??

    I know that it's not logic that Lenovo will spend so much money sending stuffs one by one, but all the stuffs have different dates, so I started to doubt.

    I apreciate your wisdom and help!

    Hey,

    Everything will be shipped to you at once but the UPS guy will give you like 5 different boxes because some stuff is shipped from another factory so they put it in a seperate box. You only pay one shipping cost tho!

    they will make a note on the status order page and show multiple order numbers if they have split it into multiple orders....thats what they did when i ordered a t400 and a printer...

    anyone know about paying duty and taxes for orders in canada? my dad told me duty doesnt exist on laptops, and i think i paid cdn tax when buying, i wont be dinged more will i?

    If you buy from the US website, get it shipped to a US address and then shipped to Canada, you WILL have to pay tax when it comes through custom or else it's stuck there until you do pay it. There are many ways to get around that. Just goggle it since I am pretty sure telling you would be illegal

    My Advanced Mini Dock is on its way, but my computer won't ship for another two weeks. So in my case, they are shipping everything as it becomes available.

    You can't order from Lenovo and have shipping to Canada, you have to order from Lenovo Canada. To buy from the US you have to shop at a 3rd party store, as all the major manufacturers have Canadian branches that you have to go through.

    If you buy from the US I don't think that you have to pay duty, but you will have to pay customs and tax.

    Thanks. Now I know that my cousin (not me) will receive 5 boxes. Now, thinking about it, if I order an extra battery, do you think that the laptop will ship at the same time that the battery, 4 weeks or more? Isn't this, delaying the shipping date just because the extra battery?
