Hey guys, I bought a y510 bundle with the mouse and case on the 4th. Two of my friends did as well about an hour after me, and both of their machines are supposed to ship the 17th/18th and should arrive about 2 days later. Mine is supposed to ship in the 17th and arrive on the 24th. One friend lives in the same town, the other in an adjacent town. Also, my friend who lives in the next town over got his mouse friday whereas mine shipped the 7th. Why are the shipping times so different, and why is my stuff supposed to take longer when I purchased it BEFORE? It isn't a problem, just a question. It seemed really strange, but I figured our machines are probably shipping from different distribution centers.

the bundle is not coming out of the same location. mouse is in the USA and everything else i believe is either in Hong Kong or China. my case was shipped out of hong kong and should be here later in the week. my mouse shipped from kansas and will be here tomorrow.

    edit:

a customer service rep told me that laptops are made to order and are all manufactured in China.

Interesting...in that case ship times should be equivalent. The rep I spoke to had no idea

i would have liked it if they shipped everything at the same time or if they shipped everything from the same location. but i guess that is just how they've set things up

I'm trying to patiently wait for my y510 (unsuccessfully) to ship! I want lenovo to release the drivers so I can put a fresh install of 8 on the machine
