I'm currently fresh installing my X201 after upgrading the HDD to SSD. Out of all the Lenovo tools, I'm planning to leave only the system update, finger reader, hotkey, power manager and communications utill (the one for camera).
After I installed it all, the only shortcut that was created under the start menu is for the system update... the power manager is opanable throught the power meter.... but where there was NO link created to the comm utill?
Also, when I boot the original HDD, there are two programs in it: Lenovo Tools (NOT TOOLBOX) which allows lunching different lenovo programs and password manager.... I couldn't find installations of these apps NO WHERE in the Lenovo website OR on the SWTOOLS folder...
