    Lenovo warranty transferable?

    Is the Lenovo warranty transferable? Do you need to register your Notebook when you get it?

    How about Lenovo Outlet, are those transferable?

    Lenovo warranties transfer automatically with the machine. Only the thinkpad accident protection warranty/service needs to be transferred with Lenovo's permission.

    So they go by serial number, like Asus?

    No invoice needed in case new owner has issues with it?

    That would be an issue between the old and new owners and Lenovo would not be involved.

    Yes, the warranty is the machine's, not yours. It doesn't need to be registered in the US. No idea about other countries.

    As far as I know, the Outlet warranties are transferable. The one for my X301 was.
