Is it just me...or did the cost of the LED screen go up 10 times? It is $360 to upgrade to the LED screen on the Canadian lenovo.com.

A few weeks ago it was about $57-60. Maybe an issue with the website?

probably has more to do with supply and demand. The LED screens are in short supply

the canadian website is incredibly erratic. i bet it has less to do with reality and more to do with their embarassing inability to maintain a professional website.

last week you couldn't get a t400 with discrete grphics, but you could buy an LED screen for less than the price of a kidney.

now there are three different options that include discrete, but LED prices have inexplicably gone through the roof.

also, i've found that a laptop configured after clicking on 'elite' costs significantly less than an identical machine configured under 'enhanced'. of course, both prices are ludicrously high because of the increased LED price.

honestly, what is wrong with these people?

I agree that it's probably just a glitch - when I got my T400 I was promised an awesome custom ATI 3670 card. Try calling the sales department directly. Hardware and support is great, but you've gotta take some of the info they put out with a grain of salt.
