I have a Lenovo laptop 07683VU and a NETGEAR router connected to my PC. Laptop connected fine until recently. The "wireless button" (accessed by pressing Fn+F5) switches to "off" for no apparent reason. I click the "on" button, and things work fine for a few minutes, then the button goes to "off" again. How can I fix this problem please.

try to reinstall your thinkvantage access connections. or maybe find a latest version for those programs.

It sounds like a saving energy configuration problem....?

it is.
remove lenovo power management and it will go away -
I had that problem. But I am really embarassed to that I can't remember how I fixed. It was definitely in the lenovo software and it was a checkbox obscurely labeled in an obscure place in the lenovo software. I was looking for something and I saw that choice. It was labeled so obscurely that it took me several seconds to realize what it was.

It is in the power managment tool -
i remember having this problem also. have you updated the access connection version? well, my experience was that after updating to the latest AC version, such a problem occurred. now i went back to the orginal version that came pre-installed by lenovo, this old version works fine so far, no problems whatsoever.
