Hey guys. I've been doing some research on Lenovo laptops for a client. From what I'm seeing, the models I'm looking at don't seem to have modems, which is what she needs to get on the internet.

Does anyone know any models that are under $600 that have modems?

Yes, dial up modem. I've been looking at the G550 and the SL510. It doesn't need to have all the goodies like a webcam or fingerprint reader. She just wants to surf the internet and do email.

The x200 definitely has one. I'm not sure about all the other models as modems are being phased out across the board.

you could always get a usb dialup modem.

Or try the Lenovo outlet and get a R400 or R500 they all have the modem included and is below 600 dollars.
