So with Vista's automatic scaling ive heard about, how will the 1400x900 resolution be with XP?

    Thanks!

I just got my x200s with XP yesterday but I only played with it for an hour or so before repaving it with Vista. However, I liked the high resolution and did not feel any need to scale anything with either OS.

I just went over to my old laptop (a Sony SZ with a 1280x800 13.3" screen) and everything looks absurdly large. I can't believe I used the Sony for 2 years...1280x800 gives so little screen real estate!

In other words, I don't think 1440x900 is too much for a 12.1" screen...but I know this is a really personal decision.
