Try a firmware upgrade on the SSD.

As stated above firmware. Have you also tried to reinstall your OS?

    Yep

    I have reinstalled twice.

Does updating the firmware clear any of my info?

It shouldn't destroy the data on the drive when you upgrade the firmware but its always best to back it up as a precaution.

    Another random question.

Is there a way to speed wifi reconnections (currently takes ~15 seconds after resume from sleep)

    Thanks
