I am going to medical school in the fall and want a lenovo tablet computer. I was just wondering if you guys felt the new 230t was worth the wait or get the 220t for a lower price. I had always planned on getting my lenovo through the outlet as my budget is $1200. I thought if I waited for the 230t to be out for a month or so that the outlet prices might decrease enough to the $1200 range but am not sure as it is a new model. I am concerned if I wait on the 230t that the prices will be too high and then all the 220t's will be sold.
Thanks!

i think if you are mainly using it for medical school either should be fine.
Price would be the biggest contention here, and i don't think the X230t would pop up in the outlet store within a month of release. -
I was not sure of that either; I will only buy "new" outlet notebooks which means the buyer cancelled their order before it was sent out, so I am not sure if that would make them available within a month as opposed to refurbished models which would need more time to get in the outlet. I am leaving for school the first week of August so I am just not sure which to go with.

i think it is better that you wait for the actual hands on review from people.
The X220t system is already very polished and offers long battery time on the 6 cells battery, which is handy for lectures and tutes.
The X230t would offer a slightly longer battery life and performance in the CPU/GPU department, but you will surely pay more for it.
So in this case, you have to weigh between the extra cost and the marginal benefits.
Since you are worried about the price, it is therefore better that you wait for the X230t to come out and get a X220t from the outlet for dirt cheap. -

If I were you, I'd get a x220 and upgrade to a msata ssd/hdd combo or an ssd. You probably won't even notice the difference between the processors. The graphics are only slightly better, screen the same, chassis the same. So really you are paying a lot more for slightly better graphics and less keys on the keyboard. I couldn't say about the keyboard feel because I've never used it, but the x220 keyboard is the best laptop board I've used.
Just my advice...
Lenovo x220t or x230t?
