I was alerted from Dealzon that the y410p was discounted from $1,249 to $719 and others were being discounted up to 35% off with the coupon "HOMEPCDEAL" and was intrigued.
I have been looking for a good gaming laptop and this deal seemed very good. I went to the Lenovo site and looked up the laptop. I spent the next 5 hours researching this
laptop and learned may things including the faulty touch pad on the first models, the y410p and y510p models are only a week or two old, the awesome ultrabay feature, etc.

I put the y410p in my cart to see if the coupon was still working. I researched more. Around 1 AM in the morning I had finally decided to buy it.
I went to check out and noticed on the final page that the price with tax was around $860 and tax was $60. I saw that the laptop price suddenly had jumped
up from $719.99 to $799.99!!! I was shocked and pissed off because I had spent so much time looking into this thing and I assume the price jump happened at midnight.

I have a screenshot of the page with the original price here: http://imgur.com/6pRYeai
You can google "y410p discount" and see many sites reporting on this deal.
If you google "lenovo y410p" you can find the cached version of the page and still see the original deal:
    http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...pad/y-series/y410p/+&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us

Here is a screenshot of the cached page: http://imgur.com/c0Btmff

I emailed them and told them the issue. I know the only difference is the gen 4 i7 (at least on the specs page), but their may be small enhancements and
I plan on buying a ultrabay graphics add-on when they release the 750m version. I have read on this site that it may be different since the y410p laptop size is (barely)
more skinny and Lenovo might not support the old y400 and y500 models since there is some weird stuff happening with them at the moment.

I am just very angry, and if they do not let me buy the laptop at the originally discounted price, I was thinking maybe I should just buy the y500 model since it is the same price as the y410p since it jumped up...
But then if I get that, I might as well get the 1920x1080 version for only $30 more...
Idk, I just really didn't want to go over $800 at the moment and was planning on saving up more for the ultrabay graphics later.
If I get the y400 (which is at the price the y420p was at a couple hours ago), I run the risk of Lenovo not releasing a 750m graphics
ultrabay add-on which will be compatible.

PS: I contacted the 24/7 service and the rep said they can't confirm with third party sites and only sell at the price their website shows. Honestly, it is false advertising and I should't have to pay %80 more dollars because I decided to buy the laptop a couple hours later than I could have (and the coupon exp. date isn't until the 12th).

Sorry for the rant, TL;DR: Lenovo suddenly changed the coupon discount on the y410p in the matter of hours I spent researching if I should buy it. Is there any way I can still buy it at the originally stated price?

Call them and talk to a sales rep. There is a good chance they will.honor the other price. It'd important to speak to someone not online chat. Maybe call couple of time it seems different reps can do different things.

Since the Y410P has been out (only a couple days now), the lowest price I have seen for the base model (1366x768 screen) is $769 I believe and that was through my EPP site.

Not saying people didn't get the deal, but it was probably a typo. It was probably meant to and is now the Y400 price. Typos and wrongly placed info has been a problem on the Lenovo site at least since the Y410/Y510 came out.

Lenovo I noticed are really horrible at typos on their website. Like their screens will say they are matte anti-glare but they are really glossy etc. Also the ultrabay graphics card isn't even described in anything that means anything to the customers, instead of saying it's a 750M card it says something off the wall. They need to hire somebody better to handle their website.

I'm having the same issue, I found the laptop, did some research and decided to order to find the price was $80 higher. I got a nice screenshot of the price and up in the right corner it says "Sale ends June 12th". I'm either going to get it of that price or I'm going to make someone's life miserable.

just be nice to the sales rep and maybe they will let you in on the same deal you found. i found that if i just chat them up and is nice while talking to them, it's easier to get what i want.

Just ordered the mid range ($849) model yesterday and asked for the coupon that expired yesterday (USPY416606). It's expired apparently, but the service rep went ahead and honered it, giving me the laptop for $799. This is a hell of a deal considering what else is on the market right now. I really wanted a bluray drive, but since this comes with a DVD drive, it should be an easy swap to stick a bluray internal into the optical drive ultrabay enclosure.

Well I have been trying all week to get this, but the Lenovo customer service failed me. They never called me back with my issue after trying numerous times and getting
confirmation that they were looking into it. Being outright ignored is definitely worse than them saying "No, we cannot give you the product at the price".
I am very disappointed, and will be buying from Amazon instead.

Through my company's EPP I saw the base model (59369912) for $689.00, when I tried to check it out I received an error message that said, "Unfortunately your order cannot be completed at this time. To assist you more quickly, please contact us at Call 1-877-222-6426, Ext. [xxxx]." This was Wednesday night, I went to sleep, hoping that in the morning I would try again and it would work.
When I woke up to try again, the new, higher prices were up. After looking around the web for a couple of days to see if anyone else had experienced this, on Sunday I decided to try my luck and give Lenovo a call. I called the number in the aforementioned error message and used extension 8256. I told the sales rep what happened and he said that there was no record of the laptop ever being that price. He asked if I had a screenshot that I could use to support my claim, I told him that I did and used the very same one that the OP posted, I just edited the Google cache part out in Microsoft Paint. I sent the screenshot to him through e-mail and told him that this was the screenshot that I took while browsing the regular prices (non-EPP) and told him that I noticed how usually the EPP prices were $30.00 lower. He placed me on hold to go talk to his manager and after a couple of minutes came back and told me that usually they (Lenovo) only honor expired prices for 24 hours and then that's it, but for me they would make an exception.
Long story short, I was very fortunate and managed to snag the base model at $730.34 (including tax and free shipping) and it should arrive later today!
