I bought this lenovo Y500 and i have this problem that it turns static when i plug in the adapter.

When its not plugged in it is not static at all.
But when it is its slowly turning static until 53% then its fully static.
    Very weird.

I dont have this problem at all with my other laptop.

What do you mean that it turns static? Is the power adapter grounded (3 prongs)? Does this happen if you use a different wall outlet? What battery voltage are you getting as you approach 53%? (HWmonitor will tell you this.)

What is the setting for your power? Have you activated Lenovo Energy Management?
