Hey guys and gals, I need some advice on accessories for my lenovo ideapad y510p. I am getting a razer naga epic gaming mouse and am wondering if I can use it with my lenovo. If so do I need additional software to configure all the buttons? Also, I might get the razer Nostromo if i really get into gaming, same question for this product.

The next item I want to get is a cooling pad. I want to get the cooling pad that will be most compatible with the Lenovo. I was thinking the cooler master Notepal u3 would be a good choice because you can move the fans around for maximum cooling. If anyone has any suggestions on cooling Pads that are most beneficial for the Lenovo let me know, please!

The lenovo has an interchangeable bay so I could add a dual graphics card, increased storage, or a cooling fan. Unfortunately lenovo hasn't released any of these products yet. Are there any non-lenovo products that I can use with the ultra bay? And are they actually worth the money for what they do?

I was thinking about getting something like the samsung 2.5" SATA III Pro but I'm not exactly sure what this product does. Can I use this with the Lenovo and would it improve my computer? If someone can shed some light on this product that would be great!

I have a notepal U3 and it fits the y510p pretty well (because the y510p is pretty big and the notepal U3 supports up 17-19 inch laptops. Ultrabay accessories are only available through Lenovo. Now that the Ultrabay 750m is released, I'm hoping the other accessories will be released soon. You can get the hdd caddy from a third party, but you need the bezel from the dvd drive to make it look proper (out of luck if you have a dual SLI model). We are supposed to be able to get some of the Lenovo accessories from the Lenovo Parts store ( Y500) but the Y500 accessories are completely sold out (I'm waiting for the y510p page to show up).

I have a razer Orochi and it works incredibly well with mine, i don't see why it wouldn't work.

Nope. Unless you mod one of course.

Largest battery is 72w/h 6 cell.

    Batteries for the Y400, Y500, Y510p and Y410p are all cross-compatible.

There are 3 sizes, all of them 6 cell:
72w/h, found on the Y500 and sold on Lenovo.com
    62w/h, found on the Y400 and Y510p
    48w/h, found on the Y410p

Note that higher capacity = higher weight.
