Hey guys, I have a couple questions for you. First off, how is the durability of the y560 laptops? Second; does the screen display full bright colors? Third; where is the SSD option on the y560? Fourth; aesthetically this laptops looks great on the web, how is it in person? Thanks.

    1. On par with most consumer laptops. 2. Yes, but the 1366x768 resolution lets it down. 3. You cannot customize the laptop, you must buy the SSD separate. 4. Meh. The graphics on the cover are very light, so you hardly see it in normal lighting.

I would go to the official y460 and y560 forum and ask people who own one. I believe the y460 and y560 have the same thickness, which is fairly slim. Although the y560 is about a pound heavier than the y460.

If you have access to Fry's Electronics store, you should come out and check out the Y560 in person to get a feel to it. I've seen it in person and it's heavier and bigger to begin with, compared to Y460. Fry's had a deal this week for Y560 for $849. In my opinion, 15 inches and larger are a little difficult to carry around when I travel. I have always opted for 14 inches or smaller.

There is a new option coming out with a hybrid drive. 32GB SSD + 500GB HDD.
