That's pretty cool. I am not sure I like the red color that much. Black would fit much better I think.

Dam, great find. This latest netbook does look promising. For the price, it should be killer and with Lenovo's name behind it, should sell great for the quality we get(hopefully). It is good to see Windows being offered, but lately I have been interested in Ubuntu's new netbook platform. Would be nice to see them open that up
But that is a whole new discussion...

Nice, I like the red too!
-
Lenovo seems to be very good at picking up.
-
That is so cool. Now they made me wait until later this year to decide on a netbook...
-
Oh wait...there is a black one. LOL

It would be nice for them to start shipping by September, if not, it may be advantageous to wait for the dual core mobile cpus which are coming out q3-4 (not sure).
-
Wow, I have to say, this is the best netbook I ever seen. I am buying one
. But why aren't they shipping until October?

A couple of years ago, I owned a burnt orange machine which I thought then, looked very good. And I had NOT taken any drugs or gone on an alcoholic binge while ordering!
And thanks to the OP for the post - first I've heard of these machines. -
Here are more pictures of it:

Regarding white - Apple seems to do well with it, so you can make non-cheap-looking devices
-
I suppose it's a combination of design and color. The Wind's and EeePC's design is so bland, I just believe it would be better if it was in black. -
I have a black 900 and a white 901. The 900 does look more sleek and the 901 has a cuter looker. I think that's generally true with all laptops though, black = business, white = style.

I just took a look at those pics, looks like they switched the FN and Ctrl button, but there are some fixes for that. It lookes awesome...too bad about that Oct date I guess.
-
Sigh, just ordered a relatively loaded T61 for ~1100. Tempted to cancel it, buy a desktop for my room and this S10 for travel. Choices, choices!
-
I would say that would be a good idea. I wished I had started out with a desktop and waited for these netbooks, now I got this huge laptop with the need for a traditional desktop and a netbook for school. My 2 cents...

I don't mind the Fn and Ctrl. All my laptops except my Dell ones have the Fn to the left of the Ctrl.
I do mind that the right shift is to the right of the up arrow key. That seems like it would be very hard to get used to. It seems easier to just use the left shift exclusively.
