    I don't feel like bothering Lenovo's customer service just yet:

    What exact ram does lenovo use for their 2 gig stick for the t400 version so I can Google it. Or you could find it for me and let me be lazy...

    The T400 uses 204pin DDR3 modules. Good luck.
